18th January 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light airs Surf / Sea State: smooth Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy with light winds Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sunday 18th January - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy with light winds. A mainly cloudy day with light winds so no plans to do anything so after breakfast I did my exercises before some homemade soup, I got on the scales this morning and Christmas has certainly taken it’s toll gaining half a stone so must lose a few pounds! Mag had already been on her early walk but we went on another one together this time, down to a very busy Lidl for a couple of things before continuing through a lovely quiet Langer Park, up Beach Road onto a busy prom. The sea was very flat due to the light breeze and the sky had a nice colour, I took a pic of Mag alone on the beach and was joined by a neighbour another photographer :) Then back home for a cuppa and one piece of fruit loaf!
